Draft:Alexandra Doten
Submission declined on 9 February 2024 by Sirdog (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: I would under other circumstances agree that the article from Vanderbilt meets all of the standards as counting towards our general notability guideline, however, as Alexandra is an alumni from the school I'd say it's not independent and so cannot be used for notability. Even were that not the case, a single complaint source is generally not enough to carry an article. Being mentioned by Forbes 30 under 30 is also not sufficient for Wikipedia's use-case. Try to research and find 3 sources that provide significant coverage to Alexandra while also being reliable and independent (e.g no close relation / press release / paid endorsement or advertisement, etc). Thank you for the work you have done so far! —Sirdog (talk) 08:47, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
