Alfredas Martynas Sviklas (1942 – 2022) was a distinguished Lithuanian chemical engineer known for his pioneering work in fertilizer technology.

Sviklas graduated from Kaunas Polytechnic Institute in 1965. He began his career at Achema (formerly Azotas), where he held various roles including head of the Methanol Production Conversion Department and the Technology Laboratory. Later, he joined Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) as a professor and served as vice-dean.

His research focuses on the physical chemistry and technology of fertilizers, aiming to enhance their efficiency and sustainability.
