Aliisa Rosenthal is an American sales executive who currently serves as the Head of Sales at OpenAI.[1]. She has also worked in sales and partnership roles at several notable technology companies, including WalkMe, InVisionApp Inc., Mixpanel Inc., Quid, and S&P Capital IQ[2]

Early Life and Education

Aliisa Rosenthal attended Isidore Newman High School. She then went on to study at Brown University from 2001 to 2005, where she earned an A.B. degree in International Relations. During her time at Brown, she also studied Economics at Université Lumière Lyon 2 from 2003 to 2004.[1]

Early Career

Rosenthal began her career at S&P Capital IQ, where she held roles as an Account Executive and Customer Technical Support. She then moved on to Quid, where she served as Director of Strategic Partnerships from December 2010 to September 2012.[1]

Mixpanel, Inc.

From September 2012 to December 2016, Rosenthal worked at Mixpanel, Inc., initially as the first sales hire and later as Sales Director for MidMarket.[1]

InVisionApp Inc.

In January 2017, Rosenthal joined InVisionApp Inc. as the Director of Enterprise Sales, a role she held until July 2018. During her tenure, she managed Enterprise Account Executives, Account Managers, and Business Development Representatives.[1]

WalkMe

Rosenthal's next move was to WalkMe, where she served as VP Sales from July 2018 to June 2022. She managed a team of 50 quota-carrying Account Executives and sales leaders, growing the company’s Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from $50 million to $200 million through its IPO.[1]

OpenAI

In June 2022, Rosenthal became the Head of Sales at OpenAI.[1]. At OpenAI, she has been instrumental in driving the company's sales strategy and expanding its market presence. Under her leadership, the sales team has achieved significant milestones, including partnerships with major enterprises like PwC[2]. Rosenthal is known for her ability to build mission-oriented teams and her strategic vision for integrating AI solutions in various industries[2]. Personal Life

Aliisa Rosenthal resides in San Francisco, California. In a notable and challenging period of her life, Rosenthal faced a rare health scare related to her pregnancy. She was diagnosed with a form of cancer linked to her pregnancy, a condition that is extremely rare[3]. Despite the difficult diagnosis, Rosenthal navigated through this period with resilience and strength, balancing her health, personal life, and professional responsibilities.
