Anant Mukesh Ambani (born April 10, 1995) is an Indian businessman, philanthropist, and animal welfare advocate. He is the younger son of Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), and Nita Ambani, founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation.[1]

Anant Ambani holds several significant positions within the Reliance Industries conglomerate. He serves as a Director on the Boards of Jio Platforms Limited, Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, Reliance New Energy Limited, and Reliance New Solar Energy Limited. He is also a Director of Reliance Foundation.[2]

Beyond his corporate roles, Anant Ambani is known for his commitment to animal welfare and environmental sustainability. He is the founder of Vantara, a sprawling animal rescue and rehabilitation center in Jamnagar, Gujarat.[3]

Anant Ambani was born and raised in Mumbai, India. He attended the Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai before pursuing his higher education at Brown University in the United States, where he earned a bachelor's degree.[4]

Anant Ambani has openly discussed his struggles with chronic asthma and the impact it has had on his health journey, including weight fluctuations. He has inspired many with his dedication to fitness and well-being, having undergone a significant weight loss transformation.[5]

Anant Ambani joined Reliance Industries in 2015 after graduating from Brown University. He has since taken on increasing responsibilities within the company, focusing on the energy and materials businesses. He plays a key role in Reliance's efforts to transition to a net-carbon-zero company by 2035, spearheading initiatives in renewable and green energy.[6]

He is actively involved in the development of the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex in Jamnagar, Gujarat, a major project aimed at producing clean energy and advanced materials.

Philanthropy and Animal Welfare

Anant Ambani is a dedicated philanthropist with a particular passion for animal welfare. He founded Vantara, a 3,000-acre animal rescue center in Jamnagar, Gujarat, dedicated to the rehabilitation of abused and endangered animals.
