Anne De Zogheb (2 October 1948 – 29 March 2017),[1] Egyptian-born British model was gracing covers of fashion mags in the US and France in the late 50's and early 60's.

Biography[edit]

Anne De Zogheb was born in Alexandria, Egypt, her father Charles De Zogheb was a famous Syrian-Lebanese diplomat who was a member of Alexandria's illustrious Levantine de Zogheb clan.[2] At the same time, her mom was a British housewife. She is of English, Dutch, and Greek descent from her mothers, while of Syrian and Lebanese descent from her fathers.[3]

Personal life[edit]

In 1962, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she was a fashion model on assignment and under contract to the Eileen Ford Agency, where she met Paul Anka. The couple then married.[4]They had 5 children together, she stopped modeling after her 2nd child. The couple then divorced in 2000.
