Nick name: Golden (man) Buns
After a glorious reign as a striker for Preston North Shore Academy, Whittle hung his football boots up to become a coach for Fleetwood Football Club (juniors).
He has recently moved onto working to at a local Preston primary school, where he now runs the football club. Whittle's footloose skills can be witnessed on the dance floor on staff night outs. The years of football training has definitely proved worth while.
Whittle also helps achieve amazing results with the pupils competing against other schools. Often, Whittle has been able to sneak in a game to ensure victory as he is 4 foot 2 and the same height as the Year 3s.
What is Whittle's next steps for achievement? Rumor has it that Whittle hopes to run the school one day with his football by his side as deputy.
