Ashiskumar Singh Rampul (born January 27, 1996) in Mauritius, known professionally as Ashis Ramphul, is a Mauritian singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor.
Personal life
[edit]Ashis Ramphul is a musician and content creator known for his contributions to the Indian music industry and his YouTube presence. Born and raised with early exposure to music, Ramphul began performing in private shows with his father, which influenced his future career.
Over time, he expanded his online presence by initially posting cover songs on YouTube and later transitioned to creating original music and videos. Supported by his family and friends, Ramphul has developed as an artist.
His discography includes several singles and his debut extended play (EP), Teri Yaad, released in January 2021. He primarily sings in Hindi, but his repertoire also features performances in Bhojpuri and Mauritian Creole.
Career

His breakthrough occurred in 2017 with the release of his debut single, "Na Jaana," which gained notable popularity in Mauritius.[1] In 2021, Ashis Ramphul released an extended play (EP) titled Teri Yaad, which contributed to his established presence in the music industry. He is also known for singles such as "Nayi Zindagi," "Tohar Bin," and "Kamariya." The latter was ranked 14th in the local category of the Song of the Year 2022.[2][3]
