The core values of the organisation are receptiveness, creativity, equality and team spirit. Athens Music Week (AMW) aims at: the international promotion of local music, the promotion and exploration of the contemporary urban lifestyle in Greece, the exchange of know-how and the development of innovative approach for the sustainable growth of the Music Sector.[9] Since 2020, AMW is co-organized by Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens and MESO Events.[10]
