Béatrice Wertli (born February 24, 1976 in Aarau) is a Swiss politician with the Parti démocrate-chrétien.

Biography[edit]

From 2001 to 2005, she was the communications director of the Parti démocrate-chrétien. She then held various positions with the Swiss Post and the Federal Office of Sport. From 2009 to 2012, she was a communications consultant. She is married to Stefan Meierhans and has two children.[1]

Political career[edit]

From 2009 to 2013, she was a member of the municipal council of the city of Bern and co-chaired the Christian Democratic People's Party of Switzerland group. In August 2012, she was elected Secretary General of the Parti démocrate-chrétien. She succeeds Tim Frey.[2][3]
