BLOKE[edit]

BLOKE aka. "Principe Del Trap" aka. "Spencer Arguedas" is a costarrican rapper, singer, songwriter and producer based on Jaco city on Puntarenas province. He's of the most famous known "trap" performers in the country.

Musical Career[edit]

BLOKE's discography extends since the year 2012 with his Mixtape "Conduciendo Por El Bloke" and later with one of his most acclaimed singles "A Cachete" on 2014. Bloke has a discography of 7 albums and several singles including "Echele Miel" on 2016 and "Tengo Kush" on 2015.

BLOKE has played several some concerts during his career and also in one of the most important Rap events in Costa Rica "Ruff and Tuff's Rap Tico Fest" on several years.

Early Life[edit]

His parents, a man from Atenas (Alajuela, Costa Rica) and a woman from Denmark, met on Jacó beach and settled there. When Bloke – who in this part of the story is called Spencer – was four years old, they divorced, but they both continue to live in Jacó.

“I was always hanging out with other kids, I don't know whether to say helpless, but kids just like me,” Bloke said. “At that time there was a lot of confusion, many families that were separated and many things that one sees on the street – and continues to see in Jacó. Maybe the children were starting to get into things when they grew up, but I didn't want that," he added.

As an alternative to that life, Spencer decided to go to school, although she never fit in there. However, school introduced him to the world of letters and there, it was where he found “the gift of making music,” as he calls it.

There in Jacó. Bloke started rapping with his notebooks. In them, the songs on the radio, the record player or the TV could be transformed, they could change so much that they became other songs.
