Ball and Chain is an upcoming American action comedy film written by Emily V. Gordon. It is based on the comic book of the same name by Scott Lobdell.
Premise[edit]
A husband and wife in a troubled marriage develop superpowers after a meteor shower, their only way of using them is to co-operate with one another.

Production[edit]
The film was announced in May 2020 with Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt attached to star and produce. A bidding war was taking place for the rights to the film, with Netflix eventually winning the bid.[1][2]
