Born in 1999, 3rd of August, Barbora Fričová is a part-time wannabe student, a part-time Wikipedia expert, and a full-time great friend. Despite her typical appearance, usually consisting of a why-are-you-talking-to-me stare while holding a cigarette, she is a very kind and intelligent person worth getting to know.
Life[edit]
Early life[edit]
Barbora was born on August 3rd, 1999 (as far as she claims) in Slovakia, a small rural country in the middle of Europe. Despite being born in an unremarkable country, Barbora has been very remarkable since her early childhood. Having lived with her parents near a small town of Zvolen, she had to undergo growing up in a small house built by her own father in the woods, far away from the civilized world.
Her parents practices rather liberal parenting and so, little Barbora was free to find her own place in the world. Powered by an almost-vegan diet forced by her parents, she took up many hobbies in her childhood. Some of these hobbies include (but are not limited to, since the list seems to be everexpanding):
- horse-riding
- martial arts (such as karate and aikido) - however, she has yet to show her skills
- reading
- ballet
Teen-years[edit]
Typical experiences of a soon-to-be adult include things such as falling in love for the first time, experiencing your first heart break and experimenting with drugs. Barbora has, or course, gone through these experiences as well. However, as they are too personal, they will not be included in this article.
During her teen years, Barbora began to discover her intellect. She managed to do a myriad of things and collected several achievements such as:
- creating her own newspaper
- this remarkable experience was short-lived, however, as their publishing was of an anarchist nature, which angered the authorities
- placing high in reading competitions
- despite not being a real competition, Barbora managed to show her ability to comprehend words in a very fast manner by outreading her opponents in these competitions
- when she was 9 years old, she read 154 books in a year which granted her medal from a local library[1]
- one of her most notable feats includes reading Crimes and Punishment in mere 2 days
- advancing to a national round of a general knowledge competition with her high-school friends
- winning biology competitions
- completing a C2 certificate in English
University and Erasmus[edit]
Despite her teacher's wishes for her to study natural sciences, Barbora decided to study English literature at the Masaryk University in Brno. However, she did not feel satified with her life which reflected upon her mental health. She decided to take part in the Erasmus program and chose Athens as her destination. Here, Barbora found other people not too dissimilar to herself. Athens became her second home and since she and her friends did not want to give it up, they agreed to come back after the Erasmus program to live there indefinitely. And they did exactly that.
Athens[edit]
After the reunification of friends in the Greek capital, Barbora began to feel at home. She went through ups and downs, which are really not going to be described here. Nevertheless, Barbora temporarily settled for a job as a Microsoft support agent while she was trying to begin her studies in the new city. Unfortunately, Greece is not well known for reliability and her study had to be delayed for the incompetency of administrative workers at local universities.
Current life[edit]
Barbora currently works as a Microsoft support agent for Teleperformance. She is planning on attending a university as of next year.
Skills[edit]
Barbora possesses many skills. However, one of her most notable one are her artistic capabilities. She expresses those in many ways - from architectural drawing to tattoos. Her other great skills include:
- fast reading
- recommending an in-place upgrade of Windows
- remarkable creativity and humor
