Barry Barnett is an American attorney at a Houston-based law firm, Susman Godfrey LLP.[1][2][3]

Early life and education[edit]

Barnett graduated from Yale University in 1981 with Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics. He received his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1984.[4]

Career[edit]

Barnett is a senior partner at Susman Godfrey’s Texas and New York offices since 1985[5][6][7] and a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers.[8][9][10] He has been the elected member of The American Law Institute since 2006.[4]

Barry has been the trustee for The Center for American and International Law since 2011.[11][12] Since March 2017, Barnett has also been the member of board of trustees for New-York Historical Society.[8]
