Career

[edit]

While Bava's Haitian heritage can be heard throughout her music, a common thread heard in both Taki Taki and Itsy Bitsy, the singer-songwriter has also leaned into personal experiences to inform her music. On the creation of her single "I Wish," Bava explained “I was so drained by a past relationship. I felt like my entire identity was wrapped up in theirs; that when people thought of me, they thought of us. I wanted to express that frustration somehow and headed to the piano to try." [1]

As of 2024, Bava has collaborated with Zedd and performed with him on September 7, 2024. The two also joint forces on the song "No Gravity." [2]

Bava has seen significant success on social media, with a YouTube following of over 2.6 million on her account, bava_qt
