Benjmain Rickerby (born 28 March 2004) is a New Zealand middle- and long-distance runner, Benjamin Rickerby is a talented mountain runner from New Zealand. He was born on March 28, 2004 in Auckland. Benjamin has achieved remarkable results in various events. Notably, in the 2022 World Mountain Running Championships [1][2], he finished 31st in the junior men’s category with a time of 27:48[3]. Despite sustaining cuts and bruises from a mid-race tumble, Benjamin’s performance was outstanding, making him the highest-placed Kiwi athlete in the championships[4][5]. Completing the challenging 6-kilometer distance with a + and – elevation of 225 meters, the national U20 mountain running champion executed a solid run despite the fall on the downhill section[6]. 3000 Metres Steeplechase: Benjamin Rickerby has also competed in the 3000 meters steeplechase event[7]. His all-time personal top 10 performance in this discipline showcases his endurance and skill on the track. In the 2022 New Zealand Road Championships, Benjamin achieved an impressive second place in the 8-kilometer race with a time of 26 minutes and 10 seconds[8].
