Bernice West (born Bernice van der Westhuizen; 21 October 2000, Rustenburg, South Africa) is a Afrikaans singer-songwriter from Swartruggens, North West Province, who on 13 March 2020 released her first single Sonop-Blom (Dawn Flower). She rose to fame after becoming placing as a runner up on the music competition 'Maak My Famous' ('Make Me Famous') on the TV channel kykNET. She also participated in the Bohemian Rhapsody music video released by Hoërskool Rustenburg's choir, which made news headlines.[1]
