The Bhatipara Zamidar Bari is a historic structure located in the village of Bhatipara of Derai Upazila in the Sylhet Division, Bangladesh.[1] This Zamindar house is particularly known for its history and architectural style. The design and construction of the house exhibit a blend of local and colonial architecture. The house features large courtyards, ornate rooms, and sometimes private temples or mosques.[2] Its the in-laws' house of Hason Raja.[3]

Zamidar Bari mosque

The mosque of Bhatipara Zamidar Bari, was constructed in the late 17th century, stands as a testament to the architectural grandeur of that era.[5][6] The mosque, which was built in the late 17th century, is a prime example of Mughal-inspired architecture, modelled after the famous Jama Masjid in Delhi. The mosque features three large domes, sixteen smaller minarets, and intricately decorated walls with ceramic tile work.
