  • Comment: This could be a stub+ article, but it does not demonstrate, as far as I can see, that it is a truly notable topic, rather than just another of the thousands of short-lived bands the world has seen. Without this, it is more appropriate for a mention in articles of one or more members, base locations, or some other related item, but not for its own article. Bitch Boys was a Danish band formed in 1997, and consisted of Anne Linnet, Berit Fridahl, Jette Schandorf and Rikke Veth.[2][3]

History[edit]

Linnet did not think there was enough interesting Danish rock music in the 1990s, so she formed Bitch Boys to continue her unique approach to female rock. She thought that the band "never became very great".[4]

Anne Linnet was resident in Rome in 1995[5], the same time when her albums Thorvaldsen and Pige træd varsomt were made.[1] Sporadic groundwork for Bitch Boys already took place in 1995. The debut live performance of Bitch Boys was on April 10, 1997 in Helsingør.[6] The only album of the band, Bitch Boys from 1997, received negative publicity in the press.[7][8][9] The album Bitch Boys contains a cover version of The Kinks' song "You Really Got Me".
