In 2016, the company also opened a small store near Brooklyn College to serve the student community in New York.[2][non-primary source needed]

Business model

[edit]

BooksRun’s primary business model is B2C (business-to-consumer). The company sells and buys used and new books and textbooks (physical books and eBooks) and offers textbook rentals.[3]

Education and environmental support

[edit]

In 2018, BooksRun offered a $1,000 scholarship for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in US colleges. [4] The scholarship aimed to reduce the financial burden of college expenses.[4]

Since 2019, BooksRun has partnered with One Tree Planted, an organization that aims to help the environment by planting more trees and restoring forests.[5]
