"Boom" is the third episode of the fourteenth series of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It was broadcast on BBC One on 18 May 2024, and was written by former showrunner and head writer Steven Moffat and directed by Julie Anne Robinson. It stars Ncuti Gatwa in as the Fifteenth Doctor and introduces Millie Gibson as his companion Ruby Sunday. "Boom" marked the return of Steven Moffat as a writer, after previously serving as showrunner from 2010 to 2017.
