Buntu Hlotywa is an East London based Entrepreneur notable for his ventures in Custom Printing and Fintech.
Early Life and Education
Born at Victoria Hospital in Alice, Buntu was one of the two twins born to law student Nobuntu Hlotywa who passed away during birth along with the other twin with Buntu being the only survivor. He was raised by his grandmother who was a qualified nurse at Cecelia Makhiwane Hospital.
In the early years of his childhood him and his family moved to Mdantsane where he attended early education at Lukhanyo Primary School. His family relocated again to Buffalo Flats in East London where he spent most of his childhood and completed his primary education at Nontuthuzelo Primary School. In 2009 his grandmother passed away and was subsequently raised by his aunt Bongiwe Gloria Hlotywa.
He then went on to complete his matric at Ebenezer Majombozi High School. He then furthered his higher education with a Mechantronics Engineering & Robotics qualification at Buffalo City College.
Entrepreneurship
Buntu is a founder and Chief Operating Officer of Printabes ZA. A custom printing company that provides custom printed items. Within a year since formation the business had already been servicing beyond the confides of the Eastern Cape throughout the entire country. Buntu has other entreprenerial startups, noticeably in fintech and defi where he is revolutionizing the industries with innovative solutions.
