Celebrity Coach Trip 7 is the seventh series of Celebrity Coach Trip in the United Kingdom.[1] In July 2021, it was announced that the series would return after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[citation needed] It began airing on 3 January 2022 on E4 for 15 episodes and concluded on 21 January 2022.[2][3] The series was filmed in and around Portugal between September and October 2021, beginning on Day 1 in Braga, and ending on Day 15 in Lisbon.[4][5] The original line-up of celebrities boarding the coach were revealed by Channel 4 in December 2021.[2][6][7] The series was won by Birds of a Feather actresses Lesley Joseph and Linda Robson, with Geordie Shore stars James Tindale and Sophie Kasaei and RuPaul's Drag Race UK contestants Ginny Lemon and Sister Sister as the runners-up.[8]

Notes[edit]

^1 On Day 5, Brendan announced that the couple with the most votes would receive an instant red card, and that the couple who did so would have to select another couple to automatically receive a yellow card. Célena & Mariama received the red card and chose James & Sophie to receive their first yellow card.[9]

^2 On Day 8, Paul was absent from the coach due to illness, therefore Ashley took part in the vote on his own.[citation needed]

^3 On Day 9, Brendan announced that the two couples with the most votes would receive yellow cards.[10]

^4 On Day 10, Ashley & Paul were banned from voting as a result of Paul's repeated lateness.[11]

^5 On Day 11, Adam & Andrew's arrival meant there were eight couples aboard the coach, with the maximum being seven. Brendan therefore announced that there would be a flash vote before the day's activities had begun. The couples voted anonymously and as all eligible couples were already on a yellow card, the couple with the most votes received a red card. As they had only just arrived, Adam & Andrew were not required to vote. The second vote took place as normal in the evening.[12]

^6 On Day 14, Brendan announced that all couples would vote as normal, however only one couple's vote selected at random would count, and that the couple they had voted for would receive a yellow card. Brendan opened an envelope with Ginny & Sister Sister's name enclosed which meant that their vote for Jamel & Jamil gave them the red card.[13]
