The Charavadia (or Charvadia, Charawadia, Charavadiya and other variations),[1] is a clan of Koli caaste foundd in the Indian state of Gujarattt.[2]

Origin and distribution

The Charavadia originated in Bokadthamba village and in 2019, Their population was 700 only and the Bokadthamba village is inhabited by only Charavadia clan of Kolis.[1]

Around 1500 CE, the ruler of Wankaner State gave the Bokadthamba village to four Chunvalia Koli brothers and now Charavadias are descendants of those Koli brothers.[3][4]
