Chicago House Studios, Inc., commonly known as Chicago Furniture Market was a chain of big-box furniture stores operating stores in Chicagoland. The chain was founded in 1978, and ceased operations in 2013 due to bankruptcy

Chicago Furniture Market was founded in 1978 by Phillip Harvey, a former worker at JCPenney. Chicago Furniture Market first started in Illinois, then in Wisconsin in 1991, then Indiana in 1994. Chicago Furniture Market was the top furniture store chain in Chicago from 1986 to 2003. Bankruptcy started to happen in 2005, causing Chicago Furniture Market struggling to operate, and finally succumbed to bankruptcy and liquidation in 2013
