Chioma Avril Rowland (born April 30, 1995) popularly known as Chioma or Chef Chi is a Nigerian chef and entrepreneur.[1][2]

Early life[edit]

Chioma Avril Rowland was born in Imo state, Nigeria where she grew up and attended her nursery, primary and secondary school before moving to Ogun state to further her education, where she met the Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke.[3][4] She officially started dating after moving from her schooling in Babcock to lagos state[5] where her career for being a chef was well known.[6][7][8]

Career[edit]

Chioma Avril Rowland became more popularly known after being starred as the main character to the musical video ‘Assurance’ sang by Davido[9] in celebration of their love for each other.[10] In 2020, she signed an ambassador deal with paypote.[11]

Educational background[edit]

In 2012, Chioma Rowland, gained admission to study economics at the University of Babcock.[12][13][14]

Personal life[edit]

Chioma Avril Rowland is married to David Adedeji Adeleke with two children, born in the United State of America.[15][16][17]

Controversy[edit]

In 2020, rumours went viral as Davido publicly talked about Chioma Avril Rowland health status.[18]. In 2022, Chioma Avril Rowland lost her first child with Davido, Ifeanyi who was said to be drowned in a swimming pool.[19]
