Chol Garang also known as Shørl Wesle[1]y is a South Sudanese film director, screenwriter and producer[2] and also a graphics designer.[3] Chol is best known for writing and directing Miith Cin Piooth,[4] Susan and Piir Da and He's also the founder of filmerah - a humanitarian film-aid agency that uses screens to change lives and create careers. Kuol was born in what is now South Sudan during the Sudan Civil War.

[edit]Chol is the son to Garang Kuol Nhial and Amac Elizabeth, his sisters include Apiu Garang, Chol is Married to Rita Ajah Akau[5] and they have two adorable boys, Trevor Nhial Chol and Fidel Kuol Chol. He's of Dinka ethnicity
Education
[edit]Chol grew up between Sudan (now South Sudan) and Kenya where he started his elementary School in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Chol later went to Nakwathom Heritage Academy, a school that's led by Mama Rebecca Nyandeng, Chol later on wnet back to Nakuru where he started his high school a a mission school.
