Christian Maronian is an American Businessman and Professional Motorcycle Racer. Known for his work in Managed Care, particularly in administering Medicare and Medicaid services, and his achievements in National and Regional motorcycle racing organizations.

Christian Maronian currently resides in Los Angeles, California. He continues to contribute to his community through his work in Publicly funded health care.

Early Life[edit]

Christian Maronian, of Armenian descent, was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.

He pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he was on the Dean's Honors List[1] and graduated in 2019. He furthered his education at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, earning a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in 2023.

Business Career[edit]

Christian's involvement in the healthcare sector began in 2020, focusing on Medicare and Medicaid[2] (Known as Medi-Cal in California). He currently holds the position of Director of Operations at Empire Healthcare IPA[3], a Managed Care Organization. He specializes in administering care for low-income individuals and seniors in Southern California.

His Managed care experience includes population Risk Adjustment [1] and improving Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) scores.[4] His work in managed care reflects his contributions to improving healthcare accessibility and quality for vulnerable populations.

Motorcycle Racing Career[edit]

Christian is a licensed professional racer with the AMA/FIM Sanctioned MotoAmerica. He also holds Expert licenses with the American Federation of Motorcyclists[5] (AFM) and the California Roadracing Association (CRA)[6][7].

His racing career includes competing in professional classes like the MotoAmerica Junior Cup in 2022[8][9][10] on a Yamaha R3 and the MotoAmerica Twins Cup in 2023[11][12][13][14] on a Yamaha FZ-07. Christian won the 350 Superbike Novice and 350 Superstock Novice championships with the AFM in 2020[15][16] and 2021[17][18], along with securing 3rd place in AFM 700 Superstock Expert[19] in 2023.
