History

[edit]
Comfort Inn in Griffin, Spalding County, Georgia

Comfort Inn was founded in 1981, when Quality Inn was divided into three distinct brands: Quality Inn, Quality Royale, and Comfort Inn.[1]

In 2014, 67 million guests, or roughly one-fifth of the U.S. population, stayed at hotels under the Comfort brand across the United States. [2] Their motto is "Rested. Set. Go," with the mission of helping the guests feel rested and refreshed into their "best selves for the day ahead." [3]
