Country Clash RP is a community-driven Scratch Roleplay (RP)[1] that has been in operation since March 1st 2021[1].

The Roleplay runs on an iteration cycle and the current iteration is Country Clash '70 (CC70)[1] - the first succesful spinoff iteration and the only one thus far to be named an official iteration[1]. CC70 will end at 4PM (Greenwich Mean Time) on the 31st December 2023[2]. Following this, Country Clash RP V will begin on 1st January 2024[3].

History[edit]

CCRP has gone through many phases throughout its lifetime, each iteration had its own unique playerbase and a selection of admins to manage it - with the notable exception of CCRPI/Munbiden which was an Anarchy Roleplay.[1]

Country Clash RP I:[edit]

Originally known as Munbiden, CCRPI was an anarchy roleplay - it had no official rules. The head admin was AlbenFlushh, a now retired scratch user. CCRPI sticks out because it was extremely different from other iterations and lacked CCRP's defining qualities. It's studio can still be found on scratch, though it is no longer active. [2]

Country Clash RP II:[edit]

CCRPII was the RP's turning point, it had a more professional map (Made with the Linear Cartographic Vector Manipulation technique created by AHypnoman ) which paved the way for CCRP's iconic cartography style. It also featured an advanced tech project - starting from the early 20th Century, players could research new technologies in military, industry and even transport as they worked their way up the years. The map contained resource deposits scattered accross the few continents. Each RP "year" was equivalent to one week in real life. This has mostly been the standard for all iterations except for CCRPV, which will be using a 5 days on - 2 days off system.[3]

CCRPII is regarded as the "golden age of CCRP" by some of the older players, likely because a lot of the original playerbase either went inactive or left before the following iteration. A lot of current CCRP Players never took part in CCRPII, and those that did are almost all in administration positions. The head admin for CCRPII was Roitwell[4]. Roitwell is still involved in the community. CatMan, an important player in the community also joined in this iteration.

CCRPII ended in world unification. The GUE (Great Universal Empire) united almost all nations in the world - but not without a few bloody wars. CCRPII was the only iteration so far to have had an organic ending.

Country Clash RP III:[edit]

Country Clash RP III was a failed spinoff attempt. There is not much information on it, however it is still respected in the naming scheme.

Country Clash RP IV:[edit]

CCRPIV was the next proper iteration, following CCRPIII. It had a newer playerbase mostly consisting of players who never managed to join CCRPII while it was active. CCRPIV can be divided into two parts, the Old Age and the New Age (These are not official names)
