Draft:Damilare Sonoiki

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Damilare Sonoiki is a former analyst at Goldman Sachs who was convicted of insider trading and sentenced to one month in prison, in addition to fines and community service.[1]. The leaked information was supplied to former NFL linebacker and Super Bowl winner Mychal Kendricks.[2]

Sonoiki was an undergraduate at Harvard University whose degree was withheld due to complaints of sexual assault from multiple female students.[3]. Sonoiki sued Harvard in 2019 but the case was dismissed by a federal judge the following year[4]. The case dismissal was partially reversed in 2022 and sent back to a lower court, then in 2024 the case was thrown out again by a federal judge[5]

Sonoiki is also credited as a writer for an episode in season 2 of the American television sitcom Black-ish (season 2)[6]
