Darkold is a Basque electronic music project formed by Koldo Iglesias and Arka Devbil in 2022. The project blends elements of darkwave, synthwave, electropop, post-punk, gothic rock, and electronic music. [1]
History[edit]
Darkold originated when Koldo and Arka began discussing their shared passion for electronic music in October 2022. Their mutual interest in the genre became evident when they released their debut single and music video, "Deleted," in 2024.[2] The group's style incorporates elements of synthpop, darkwave, coldwave, and post-punk. Additionally, traces of gothic and dark music can be found throughout their work.
