David Perla (born c. 1968-69) is an American attorney and legal services business leader.

Born in Englewood, New Jersey,[1] Perla received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania, and his JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.[2] Perla then joined the law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP in Manhattan, practicing corporate law, until he became vice president of business and legal affairs for the online career service Monster.com.[3]

After serving for a time as General Counsel for Monster.com, Perla co-founded Pangea3 in 2004, with former OfficeTiger CFO and General Counsel, Sanjay Kamlani.[4] In July 2014, Perla assumed the role of president of Bloomberg BNA's Legal Division and President of Bloomberg Law.[5]

We do things for clients that they have never done before, such as deploying contract management lifecycle systems or combining legal and technical teams by having lawyers and engineers working side-by-side for many years.'"[6]

In May 2018, Perla became managing director of joined litigation finance company Burford Capital.[1]
