Delineate is an international market research and data analytics firm headquartered in Wales, UK. The firm has operations in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.

Delineate was founded in 2018 by James Turner after he left Black Swan Data.
Ben Leet joined James Turner shortly after as Chief Customer Officer. James Stewart joined the firm in 2019 as Chief Technology Officer.
Delineate has an advisory board formed of Non-Executive Directors. The board is chaired by Paul Edwards.[1] formerly Chairman of TNS Research International (now Kantar). The board was joined by Martyn Crook in 2020[2].
In January 2022 Simon Sketchley joined from YouGov as Head of Data Services[3], moving into the role of Chief Client Officer later that year[4]
In January 2023 James Stewart transitioned to Chief Operating Officer with James Betteley joining from Publicis Sapient.
Methodology[edit]
Delineate specialises in Marketing Research, with products and services in brand tracking, campaign measurement and product innovation.
The company's SaaS platform Delineate Proximity uses research technology to gather survey responses from Internet users. The platform draws demographically representative samples from global survey panels giving clients access to almost 150 million survey panellists across more than 130 countries.
Delineate is a Company Partner of the Market Research Society.
Expansions[edit]
The firm opened a technology centre in west Wales in 2019[5] and a client office in London.
In 2020 the firm expanded into North America to support clients.[6] In 2022 Delineate expanded to Latin America with the first employee in Mexico City[7]. In October 2023 the firm moved its headquarters to Ceredigion, west Wales, making its new office the centre of operations for its global customer base.[8][9][10][11]
Delineate was one of Europe's gasting growing companies in 2022.[12]
