Developed using Unreal Engine 5, Demonsomnia boasts high-performance and top-notch graphics for an immersive gaming experience.
Gameplay
[edit]Demonsomnia features both single-player and multiplayer, focusing on horror, suspense and atmospheric gameplay. Players take on the roles of four brave men responsible for investigating the complex problem that occurred on the island after the nuclear explosion. The objective is to locate various devices in the forest, extract demon fluids, and avoid nuclear detonation.
Players aim to explore the forest, collect devices, and search for evidence inside the mansion. Certain devices respond, such as radiation-measuring instruments, allowing players to identify which demon to summon. Incorrect summoning leads to mission failure. Each demon possesses unique characteristics, styles, and speeds, enhancing the game's diversity.[3]
The nature allows players to collaborate with teammates, communication, emphasizing teamwork, and strategy. Players equip gas masks and radios and encounter various mutant creatures in the forest.
Story
[edit]The government assigns four individuals to investigate the effects of a nuclear reaction. As one of them, players encounter various entities, questioning whether they resulted from radiation, mutation, hallucination, or unidentified forces.
