Djefarina Diawara (born September 13, 1994, in Ivory Coast) is an Ivorian basketball player representing the national women's basketball team. She plays as a Forward and also plays for Mbour Basket Club in Senegal. She is 5 feet 11 inches (180cm) tall.[1][2]
Career highlights
[edit]Diawara's performance is summarized for both the Senior National Team, the National Team Youth, and in league play across various events and years. In the 2023 FIBA Women's AfroBasket, she played three games, averaging 10.3 points per game (PPG), 2.3 rebounds per game (RPG), 1.7 assists per game (APG), and earning an efficiency (EFF) rating of 5.7. During the 2021 FIBA Women's AfroBasket, Diawara participated in six games, averaging 10.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and an EFF rating of 6. Additionally, in the 2019 FIBA Women's Afrobasket, she played six games, averaging 14 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1 assist, and an EFF rating of 8.8. Furthermore, in the 2017 FIBA Women's Afrobasket, she played seven games, averaging 7.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 0.6 assists, and an EFF rating of 4.7. Overall, her total average across these senior team events stands at 11.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and an EFF rating of 6.5.[1]
In her performances for the National Team Youth, Diawara participated in the 2009 FIBA Africa U16 Championship for Women, playing one game with averages of 1 point and an EFF rating of -2.[1]
In league play for the 2019 FIBA Africa Champions Cup Women - Final Round with Club Energie BBC, Diawara played five games with averages of 25 points, 13.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and an EFF rating of 20.4.[1]
