Dorairaj Prabhakaran a scientist, cardiologist, author, researcher and currently director of the Centre for Chronic Disease Control (CCDC).[1][2][3][4]

Stanford University listed Prabhakaran amongst the top 2% scientists in the world.[5] Scopus and Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, listed him as the topmost researcher in Medicine in India terms of publications for the years 2009-2014.[6]

He is a professor at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), and Emory University, Atlanta, USA.[7][8][9] He is also a visiting Scientist at the Harvard School of Public Health and an International Fellow at the Population Research Institute, McMaster University. He is also a distinguished professor at Public Health Foundation of India.[10]
