Draft:Doug from Carfax
Doug is a mole that appeared briefly in the 2014 CARFAX commercial "MOLE"[1], directed by Ben West and produced by Groundglass Films[2]. Very little is known about Doug due to the very minimal (almost non-existing) amount of information provided by the CARFAX company. The voice actor behind Doug remains unknown.

No official source has been provided by CARFAX as to which species of mole Doug is. Doug morphologically resembles the Eastern Mole (S. aquaticus). They both share a grey-brown fur with a bright pink nose. Doug is distinct from other moles in that he has four fingers on each hand compared to the six fingers moles typically have[3]. Similar to other moles, Doug is shown to be very nearsighted, needing to use a binocular to "dig up" the accident report.
Alternate Voiceline[edit]
The video uploaded by Groundglass Films and the video used by the official CARFAX Youtube[4] page showcases different versions of Doug's voice. The one uploaded by the publishing company features a more calm voice as opposed to the CARFAX version of the video where Doug emphasizes his Bostonian accent. The script along with some of the visuals are also slightly different between the two sources.
