Dr Ramesh Goyal

Dr Ramesh Goyal is a distinguished medical professional with an MBBS degree from SP Medical College, Bikaner (1988), and an MD in Pediatrics from SN Medical College, Jodhpur (1992).

He is the founder of VataVriksh Parent Care in Gurgaon, Haryana, which offers in-house living and daycare services for parents needing memory care, assisted living, respite care, holistic healthcare, and rehabilitation.

Dr Goyal was an active member of the Haryana Medical Council and the Physiotherapy Council of the Government of Haryana. He has organized numerous national, state, and district-level events, including the Haryana State Conference, National Adolescent Conference, National Conference of Pediatrics (Pedicon) 2012, and National Conference of Neonatology (Neocon) 2017.

A member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics since 1992, Dr Goyal has held various leadership roles such as IAP Gurgaon President, Haryana State President, Executive Member of Haryana at National IAP, Chief Election Commissioner of CIAP, and member of the Constitution Committee and E-voting Committee. He has delivered talks and chaired sessions at numerous international, national and state conferences. His interests include legal aspects of the medical field, particularly vaccination, and he serves on national committees of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) for Vaccination and Child Health. In 2012, he was conferred the fellowship award by IAP.

Dr Goyal has also contributed to the editorial boards of several prestigious journals, including the Indian Journal of Pediatrics and the IMA Journal of Haryana. As an office bearer at the national level of the IMA, he has significantly influenced policies such as the Clinical Establishment Act during his tenure as the State President of IMA Haryana in 2014.

In addition to his professional achievements, Dr Goyal is a founding member and active participant in various NGOs, including the Nishkam Foundation, the Spastic Society of Gurgaon, and the Neonatology Forum Haryana.
