- The thesis is lengthy and detailed. His notability is also established by the notable buildings he created, several of which we have articles on and three of which are lost on the National Register of Historic Places individually or as significant contributing properties. Edgar Lee Love (1867–1936) was a carpenter, architect, and preservationist in Huntsville, Alabama.[1]
He was one of the prominent southern architects working during the early 20th century.[2]
He was born in Missouri. He worked for Herbert Cowell in Huntsville.[3]
