The Edgeley Community Association (also known locally as the ECA), was formed in December 2022 by a group of residents. It is a community forum with local focus, aiming to encourage collaboration and to address the priorities set by the community.
Currently representing the Edgeley Ward with three councillors of the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport.
History
[edit]In May 2023 the Edgeley Community Association contested the local elections in Stockport and were successful in winning all three seats in the Edgeley Ward.[1][2]
In May 2024, the ECA succsessfully defended their first seat, increasing their majority in the vote count.[3]
