Edith Vernes is an actress, director, and acting coach, who has worked in the fields of theatre, cinema, and television in both France and the UK. She began her career in Paris, creating her own acting school, "Studio Alambic," in 2005. In 2012, she moved to London, where she founded "So French Production," a company focused on producing plays and teaching acting in French[1][2].

In 2012, she moved to London, where she founded "So French Production," a company focused on producing plays[3]. Edith began her career with a debut in Hamlet (William Shakespeare) directed by Patrice Chéreau[4]. She has since performed various leading roles in various productions such as Andromaque (Racine) directed by Christophe Lidon, Blessures Mortelles (Garcia Lorca) by Jean Réno, Les Directeurs (Daniel Besse) by Etienne Bierry, and Lettres d’une Religieuse Portugaise by Jean Laurent Cochet[5]. In London, she continued her career with performances in French with English surtitles, working closely with director Marianne Badrichani on productions like Trois ruptures (Rémi de Vos)[6], Dinner at the Smiths (Ionesco) [7], Sacha Guitry ma fille et moi (Guitry)[8], and Je t’aime moi non plus (Texts from Molière).
