Eglege festival is a wrestling festival widely celebrated by the Ikwerre community, in the Obio-Akpor local government area of the Rivers State. It is one of the most celebrated festivals by Ikwerre people.[1] Elimgbu and Otah communities are known for their celebration of the Eglege festival and the festival is used to depict the traditional theatre, used to progress unity among the people.[2]
