Elliott Huckaby is a staff writer for an Auburn Sports media company known as “The War Rapport”. He began working at the company in January 2023 and has since lead the expansion of the company’s journalistic presence online. Elliott has also launched a podcast known as “The Situation with Elliott Huckaby”. The podcast is a 10 minute review of college athletics from the perspective of an Auburn media personality. The writer is surprisingly young, as he is still in High School. While he hasn’t discussed this matter publicly the work he produces doesn’t have an inclination of a younger person. Interesting perspectives and aggressive takes have highlighted his first year in media. A controversial suggestion was made in his appearance on The War Rapport’s post game show after the Auburn Tigers loss at home to Ole Miss. Elliott stated that the then dominant Auburn defense should look for playing opportunities elsewhere in the following season due to lackluster offensive production. Huckaby received scrutiny in online spaces however he stood strong in his take and never took it back. The decision to pursue such a career at such a young age has turned out surprisingly well for Mr. Huckaby and seemingly will lead to a long and successful career in Journalism.
