Ennedue or N2 is an Italian sportswear company, originally known as Ennerre or NR, from the initials of its founder, Nicola Raccuglia.[citation needed]

Currently, the brand manufactures the professional men's football kit for Club Atlético Defensores de Belgrano, a team competing in the Primera B Nacional, the second division of Argentine football, and the kit for Club Deportivo Español de Buenos Aires, a team competing in Primera C, the fourth category for teams directly affiliated with the Argentine Football Association.

History[edit]

Founded in 1972 by Nicola Raccuglia, between the 70s and 90s, the Ennedue brand, born years before as NR Ennerre, has been the technical sponsor of numerous Italian football teams such as Bologna, Fiorentina, Lazio, Milan, Napoli, Palermo, Pescara, Reggiana, Roma, Sampdoria, and Venezia. Internationally, Ennerre has also outfitted clubs such as Kashima Antlers, New York Cosmos, Rapid Bucharest, Toronto Blizzard, Danubio F.C., Defensor Sporting, in addition to supplying technical material for national teams such as Ivory Coast, Italy, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

Other sports[edit]

Besides football, in the mid-80s, Ennerre also provided sports supplies for basketball, outfitting teams in the Serie A and A2 such as American Eagle Rieti, Banco di Roma, Facar Pescara, Mulat Napoli, and OTC Livorno.

Ennerre has also been present as a technical sponsor for the Italian National Football Actors and as the official sportswear provider in 80s movies inspired by the world of football such as "The Fan, the Referee and the Football Player", "Paulo Roberto Cotechiño centravanti di sfondamento", "The Coach in the Ball", and "Half Right Half Left - 2 Footballers Without a Ball". Ennedue has also been a supplier of sports equipment in the Pupi Avati movie "The Last Minute Man".
