Esse Michelle Aigbokhan is a Nigerian biomedical engineer, innovator, member of the Association of Women in Science (AWIS), committee member of the Global Health Student Advisory Committee.[1]. , alumnus of the InSITE Fellowship Program, past co-chair of the Biomedical Engineering Doctoral Council, and graduate biomedical researcher at McKelvey School of Engineering, Washington University in St. Louis.
Early Life and Education[edit]
Esse was born on March 5, 1993, in Abuja ,the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria then moved to Lagos with her family where she spent most of her early years. She received her B.Eng. (Hons) in Biomedical Engineering from the Bells University of Technology as the best graduating student in the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering in 2015, her M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in [2] 2023 and is currently pursuing her PhD from the same university[1] .
Personal Life [edit]
She is married to Dr. Oghosa Evbuomwan.
Awards[edit]
In 2015, Esse graduated with a First Class in biomedical engineering and received the award for best graduating student in the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering, Bells University of Technology[3]
