Exoticca (also known as Pangealand SL[1]) is an online travel agency founded in 2013 by Jesús Rodríguez[2][3]. It is headquartered in Barcelona and has a branch in Miami, USA.[4]

History

[edit]

Since 2020, Exoticca has been supported by venture capital firms[5] such as 14W, Mangrove Capital Partners, Aldea Ventures,[6] Claret Capital Partners, and Sabadell Venture Capital.[7] In 2023, the company partnered with the Spanish agency &Rosàs to produce advertisements for its campaign.[8] Pere Vallès is the company's CEO.[1]

Operations

[edit]

Exoticca's activity focuses on multi-day online tour packages that include flights, accommodation, transportation, and activities.[9]

The company operates in seven countries within North America and Europe, including the United States, Canada,[10] Mexico, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, and Germany.[11][12][13] There are destinations in around 60 countries,[14] spread across Latin America, Southeast Asia, and other regions.[4] Exoticca also expanded into Canada in 2019.[9] North America accounted for 70% of the company's sales in 2023.[4]
