From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ezekiel Main (c. 1641 - June 19, 1714)[1] was an early New England settler and politician.

Main was born near Casco Bay in the Province of Maine. He resided in Scituate, Massachusetts Bay Colony, then became one of the first settlers of what is now North Stonington, Connecticut in 1667. Main had served in King Philip's War and received a land grant in return for his military service in 1680 for land near the Shunock River. In 1696, Main served as a Deputy to the Connecticut General Assembly in Hartford, Connecticut Colony.[2]
