Fawaz Muhammad(born 13 November 1997.[1]) is the speaker of the Second Assembly of the Edo State Youth Parliament, personal Assistant to the Executive Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Council, and a Building Construction graduate of Ambrose Alli University[2]. He gained recognition for his speeches to the Nigerian youths ahead of the End Bad Governance Protest, which started on August 1st 2024

Background

Fawaz is from Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State[5]. He is a scion of the Ikelebe Royal Family of Auchi Kingdom[1].

Achievements

 Community Service Fawaz is the co-planner of TedxAuchi. He is also the General Chairman Of Auchi Okpa Age group, which has over 500 members across the world[6].

 Education

Fawaz became a student of Ambrose Alli University in 2015. In 2019, he became the chairman of the transport committee of the SUG(Student Union Government) arm. He also became a member of various other committees in the SUG. On the 5th of November 2022, he moved to Asaba, Delta state for his NYSC (National Youth Service Corps). During his tenure, he served as a Development Knowledge Facilitator, where he gained valuable experience and knowledge that honed his career. Testifying to his community development abilities.

 Career

Fawaz is an esteemed member of many professional bodies such as the Nigeria Institute of Building, Chartered Institute of Building, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Project Management Institute, and others. In December 2021 to June 2022, he became the social media manager at Boldion Ltd. He has also been a site supervisor at Litec Construction Company Ltd[8]
