Felipe Vasquez (/fɛˈlipɛ/) is an American business magnate, entrepreneur, writer, and producer. He is the founder and CEO of The Phone Up Studios, Inc., an entertainment conglomerate headquartered in Texas, United States.[1][2]
Early life and education[edit]
Felipe Vasquez was born in Lubbock, Texas. His father, Fernando, was a semi-truck driver and his mother, Euline, was a CNA and housewife. He has two older brothers and sisters. Vasquez pursued a technology elective course at Snyder Junior High School, where he developed an interest in programming and technology.
He enrolled at the Christian Academy of America and later transitioned to Laurel Springs School in 2020. Vasquez completed an internship in business and technology studies at Stanford University.
He also attended George Washington University Online High School. Currently, Vasquez is attending the University of Texas at Austin High School. Simultaneously, he is pursuing studies at Stanford University.
Vasquez has certificates in business analysis from Harvard Business School Online and composing and orchestrating for film and TV from Berklee College of Music. He also holds a Diploma in Writing for Film, Television, and Games from Vancouver Film School.
Career[edit]
Vasquez began his career in 2016 as a Sales Professional at BabySam. Where he revamped their website and developed an app prototype before declining an executive-junior position and resigning two months later.[3]
Following this, he later transitioned to Google as a content writer.
In 2017, Vasquez founded Phil's Merchandise, an e-commerce on-line store, primarily generating sales through social media influencers.[4]
Subsequently in 2018, he joined Amazon Web Services as a sales specialist.
In 2019, Vasquez founded his merger company, Baby’s&More, an e-commerce on-line store specializing in baby-originated products. During that year, the company launched a mobile shopping app for both IOS and Android.[5]
By 2021, sales had reached USD$29M and 50,000 products sold between the entities. In the subsequent year, the company initiated rebranding and restructuring efforts, transitioning into an entertainment company.[6]
Felipe has appeared in many noble productions including Trolls Band Together, Scrooge: A Christmas Carol, and The Kill Room.
