Draft:Feng shui synesthesia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The first appearance of the term feng shui synesthesia is on the subreddit /r synesthesia.[1] Synesthesia is when your brain routes sensory information through multiple unrelated senses, causing you to experience more than one sense simultaneously. Some examples include tasting words or linking colors to numbers and letters.[2] In feng shui synesthesia, mixing of the senses can induce an often overwhelming vibe which can stick to you like a virtual blanket, sometimes for hours, even if you leave the environment.[3] These vibes are almost always pleasant, but can be unpleasant if they occur in a bad environment. The experiencing of a vibe and the fact that feng shui synesthesia is very rare, sets it apart from more common forms of synesthesia such as auditory-tactile synesthesia or day-color synesthesia.
